Mount Larcom Cafe prides itself on its hearty breakfast menu. Whether you’re in the mood for the classic Big Brekkie (A$24.00) loaded with the essentials or the indulgent Eggs Royal, each dish is crafted with care, ensuring every bite bursts with flavor. Imagine savoring crispy bacon and perfectly poached eggs on a toasted sourdough base, all while enveloped in the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. And don’t miss out on the Smashed Avo & Feta (A$17.00), a surprisingly refreshing blend that’s both healthy and satisfying.

But it’s not just the breakfast that impresses; customers rave about the delicious sausage rolls and pies that Mount Larcom Cafe serves. In a world filled with lackluster fast food, the cafe stands out with its incredible pastry offerings filled with real ingredients instead of the usual fillers—each bite is a testament to authenticity. Stopped for a coffee and breaky while waiting for a wedding at “the old station”. I had a long black coffee and a big breakfast. Pleasantly surprised how yummy my coffee was and the breakfast was lovely. It a very typical country feed that hit the spot. Only thing I will say is I love my condiments and there wasn’t any jam or peanut butter to purchase but I’m just spoiled

A favourite place to stop on the way to Rockhampton. The sausage rolls are amazing along with the service.

Amazing pies and sausage rolls!! Pies were full of real ingredient fillings, rather than being full of gravy and the sausage rolls were massive and delicious!

Country cafe charm just off the highway, but with easy on-road caravan parking. We pulled in for brunch on our way from Emu Park to Harvey Bay and found this great little cafe with perfect hot barista coffee, fresh baked pies and sausage rolls and a very affordable fresh breakfast menu. Footpath seating/tables that was ideal for our dog, and just across the street from public toilets. Staff were welcoming and pet friendly. Highly recommend and would visit again if in the area.
